Our Generation
A Home Base for Young Adults
Project Our Generation is launching a supervised independent living home for young adults ages 18–21 who are aging out of foster care. The home provides a safe, stable place to live — with case management, mentorship, and round-the-clock on-call support — in a substance-free environment where support comes first.
Living here is paired with the programming Project Our Generation already runs: one-on-one coaching and workshops covering business structure, financial literacy, banking and taxes, pricing, life skills, and trade skills and certifications that lead to real jobs — along with help securing state IDs, building credit, and planning each young person's move to independence.
This first home is the beginning of a bigger vision: a permanent home base where young adults can live while they learn, work, and launch their own businesses — with community partners and small businesses alongside them. We are building it with placement partners, funders, and neighbors who believe no young person should age out of foster care into homelessness
